Visiting Bohol is never a complete experience without the Loboc River boat ride. The town of Loboc is 21 kilometers away from Tagbilaran City. The winding riverway is a total experience for a 45 minute boat ride that cost you a little. An encounter with the Tarsier would be an additional attraction to the tourists where they can take pictures of these nocturnal creatures, however, flashes of the cameras and touching are highly discouraged.
There are different modes in exploring the river. Visitors may rent small boats or "bancas" that will take you to the end of the river and back for less than $10 US or you can also ride with the floating restaurants that can accomodate up to 50 people. Buffet meals are served for almost $5 per head with different choices of famous Filipino cuisines. There are also musician aboard to entertain while cruising the riverbank. The trip ends at the Busay falls where the visitors are rendered with a local rondalla group.
